Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and conduct preventative maintenance on additive machines, including laser system calibration.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify unplanned downtime incidents.
  • Enhance post-processing steps for additively manufactured hardware.
  • Assess machine features and model alternatives to improve hardware, processes, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to boost print speed, part quality, and performance.
  • Mentor other machine techs to enhance overall support capabilities.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the business.


Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. Engineering / Associates degree with +2 years technical experience, or a High School Diploma with +5 years field service or electrical / mechanic technician experience.
  • +3 years of experience with LPBF (laser powder bed fusion) machines.
  • Familiarity with GE Additive/Concept Laser machines is a bonus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision-focused.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
