Associate, Compliance Officer

Our client is a private equity firm. They seek an Associate, Compliance Officer to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage regulatory obligations and restrictions
• Manage the regulatory and enforcement landscape and identify regulatory requirements
• Work with external legal counsels to clarify the applicable regulatory requirements
• Formulate and perform a periodic review of key compliance policies and controls
• Perform controls and provide advisory support to ensure employees adhere to policies
• Conduct Compliance training to educate new hires and staff on regulatory requirements
• Liaise with business units to address compliance issues and enforce policy violations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
• 2-4 years of relevant Compliance experience
• Financial services/private equity industry background
• Knowledge of the investment management industry
• Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• A proactive, confident, and highly motivated person
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Able to perform processes using compliance systems
