Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Project Finance, the Senior Associate, Financial Advisory, Structured Finance Team, will develop and maintain financial models for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydro technologies. You will conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and provide financial analysis for investment decisions. Additionally, you will participate in structuring debt and tax financing deals, conduct due diligence, and support the syndication process. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure the successful financial management and execution of renewable energy projects.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed financial models for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, and other clean energy technologies
Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to assess project viability and risk
Provide financial analysis and support for investment decisions, including internal and external presentations
Participate in the structuring for debt and tax financing, negotiation on terms and conditions, and execution of project finance transactions
Conduct due diligence, including financial, technical, legal, and market aspects of projects
Support the syndication process for project finance transactions including debt and tax financing
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as lead arrangers, lenders, tax equity investors, tax advisors, and third-party due diligence advisors
Desired Company and Work Background:
FAAS (Financial Advisory Services) in Big 4 accounting firms or other accounting firms (PwC, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG) is preferred
Experience with FAS (Financial Advisory Services, FDD (Financial Due Diligence), and Valuation is highly desired
Desired Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Experience working at a “Big 4 Public Accounting Firm) is preferred – PwC, E&Y, Deloitte, and KPMG
3 to 5 years of experience in project finance, renewable energy, financial advisory, or a related field
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of project finance structures, lending practices, and capital markets
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
