The Role:
TIME is seeking an Associate Programming Producer to join its fast-growing global events team, which produces the TIME100 Summit and Gala in New York, the Women of the Year Gala and Latino Leaders dinner in Los Angeles, the TIME100 Impact Awards in Dubai, as well as events at the World Economic Forum, the U.N. Climate Change Conference, and more.
The Associate Programming Producer will report to the VP of Programming and work directly with our event Programming Producers, broader events team and other colleagues across departments—including the editorial, video and business teams—to bring these highly visible, deeply collaborative projects to life.
Responsibilities:
Establish programming timelines with Programming Producers and Customer Success team and ensure timelines are being adhered to
Complete programming-related slides for all Executive Event Briefs
Support Programming Producers with speaker management and logistics including booking cars and creating speaker facesheets as well as administrative efforts including requesting, submitting and reconciling invoices and keeping tracking documents up to date
Create templates for speaker and moderator briefings in coordination with Programming Producers
Help build out and manage TIME’s event programming database, compiling and updating records so they remain current
Work with the design team and programming producers to coordinate the creation of all social media and screen assets for each event
Research and pitch speakers from every industry and across the world to feature in TIME’s event programming
Source relevant photos, video clips, and other digital assets to inform interviews and panel discussions
Work with Programming Producers on sponsor-related programming
Promote and abide by our commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience in event or television programming
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly-collaborative environments
Strong editorial and news judgment, and demonstrated interest in current events
Ability and willingness to travel to event locations both domestically and internationally
Enthusiastic about innovation, positive-change and collaboration.

This is a hybrid role. Eligible candidates for the role must be within a commutable distance of TIME’s New York City office upon hire and may be expected to be physically present as needed (typically 3 days/week).

Salary range for this position: $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience
