Beverage Flavor Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovating Flavor Beverage Scientist that will focus on developing new beverage products. The ideal candidate will have strong background in beverage science, a passion for creativity and learning. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to bring n beverage concepts from ideation to market.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and effectively duplicate beverages by employing reverse engineering techniques (analytical and sensory skills)

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of lab work, inventory, and data collection

• Provide technical support from benchtop to commercial processing of beverages

• Assist in the creation of a wide variety of new beverage concepts

• Remain current with industry trends to develop innovative products, formulations, and technologies• Develop, improve, and maintain the quality of beverage formulations that meet technical and sensory requirements

• Must have the ability to evaluate products with a high degree of accuracy and acutely discern differences

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Chemistry, or related science field required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in beverage applications

• Must be able to communicate technical information effectively

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Ability to work in an organized manner, manage time, and prioritize tasks

• Reliable, predictable attendance is required

• Strong understanding of food and beverage science principles and laboratory procedures

• Experience working with flavors is required

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have strong presentation and project management skills
