Bilingual Events Director

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a vibrant and growing client dedicated to spreading faith, providing support, and fostering fellowship. They organize a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from services and educational workshops to community outreach programs and social gatherings. We are seeking to place an experienced and passionate Bilingual Events Director to join their team and help create impactful and meaningful experiences for their congregation and the wider community.

The Events Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events that align with the ministry's mission and vision. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual with a strong background in event management, excellent communication skills, and a heart for ministry work.

Pay: $65,000+ Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Coordination:
    • Develop and implement event plans for regular and special events, including worship services, retreats, conferences, outreach programs, and social gatherings.
    • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment rental, and décor.
    • Work with ministry leaders to ensure events align with the ministry’s goals and objectives.
    • Ensure every event is executed flawlessly, delivering the planned and intended experience for all attendees
  • Budget Management:
    • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring events are cost-effective and within financial constraints.
    • Secure sponsorships and donations as needed to support event costs.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and staff involved in event planning and execution.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Communication & Marketing:
    • Develop promotional materials and strategies to effectively market events to the congregation and community.
    • Utilize social media, email newsletters, and other communication channels to promote events.
  • Evaluation & Improvement:
    • Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate event success and areas for improvement.
    • Implement changes and innovations to enhance future events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in event planning.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • A passion for ministry work and a commitment to the mission and values.
