The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Technician/Exercise Physiologist is primarily responsible for monitoring and in putting the patients data, such as vital signs and the patients progress during the exercise portion of rehab and cardiac stress testing into the computer system. The Cardiac Rehab Technician is to preform noninvasive cardiac diagnostic procedures, provide direct patient care and provide patient teaching. Often required to work independently.
Bachelor’s Degree in exercise Science/Exercise Physiology or related field such as Kinesiology preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in cardiac rehabilitation or work related field
Biennial CPR certification. ACLS certification
12 lead EKG interpretation class within 6 months of hire; refresher required every three years
AACVPR (preferred) American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiopulm Rehab Tech Range is $15 to $20.45
Exercise Physiologist Range is $18.29 to $27.44

Wears ID Badge at all times. When lifting heavy items always use proper lifting techniques. Addresses Employee/Patient incidents promptly, identifies and mitigates risks, follows Hand Hygiene guidelines, medication reconciliation (if applicable), and ventilator use (if applicable) all in accordance with KSB policies.
