Located in the beautiful town of Cardiff-By-The-Sea, Seaside Market has been serving the community since 1985. We're on the hunt for an entry-level Catering Coordinator to help us bring the flavor and fun to events all over town! We will train you to be the right-hand person to our Catering Manager, ensuring every event is a culinary success. From weddings to corporate shindigs, you'll help us deliver our famous Cardiff Crack Tri-Tip (and more!) to hungry crowds.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and organizing catering activities (think timelines, to-do lists, and making sure everything runs smoothly!)
Help with seasonal events and off-site catering
Transport food and gear to event venues
Knowledge of preparing ingredients for recipes and cooking on-site at events
Answer phones, take orders, and make customers happy
Prep invoices, collect payments, and keep sales records (crunching numbers!)
Order supplies and equipment as needed
Assist with scheduling and calendars for Seaside's catering events

Qualifications
Valid Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law).
Previous customer service experience preferred
Language and Math Ability : Read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
Food Handler Certification required. (Available upon hire.)
