Position Overview
As a College Admissions Associate, you'll play a vital role in providing expert guidance to our clients remotely from August to December. This part-time, seasonal position offers flexibility and the opportunity to utilize your admission experience to assist families at various stages of the college application process.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with families from diverse backgrounds, offering personalized support tailored to their needs
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions over the phone on various college admissions topics
Provide constructive feedback on college application essays
Address inquiries related to admissions through our help desk platform
Maintain accurate records of client interactions in our online registration system
Collaborate with the team and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Previous experience in undergraduate college admissions (college counseling experience preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and adapt to different client needs
Strong integrity, teamwork skills, and a positive, flexible attitude
Exceptional editing and writing abilities
Proven relationship-building skills and professionalism
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Access to reliable phone and internet services
Compensation And Benefits
Hourly rate: $30 - $35
