Job Summary: Responsible for preparing, negotiating and recording business contracts on behalf of their employer. Their duties include researching a contract’s terms, alerting parties to renewals or extensions and tracking all communications between their employer and various accounts.
Essential Functions:
Support all corporate departments such as Human Resources, Safety& Risk, Fleet Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Executive team. Respond to corporate requests in a timely manner
Maintain an understanding of company policies and procedures. Review company handbook periodically to ensure accurate knowledge
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards as well as all government regulations
Create and nurture a positive work environment by treating others with mutual respect and concern.
Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
Maintain organized system of physical and digital records including Certificate of Insurance, Port Authority permits, Right of Way permits and FDOT requirements
Legal research and creation of contracts and forms
Responsible for litigation including customer bankruptcy and collections

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years contract experience OR 6 years contract experience
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
