Preferred for an elevated associate role:
At least 1+ years of practice experience.
Confident and/or comfortable doing Molar Endo or Implant placement/Bone grafting
Ability to show a production average of $55k/month over last 6-12 month(s)
Very comfortable with managing 2-3 patient chairs along with 2-3 hygiene chairs
Skilled in comprehensive treatment planning
High level of proficiency in quadrant dentistry
Excellent time management skills
Good at providing direction to clinical team along with receiving feedback
We are growing quickly as a group here in Chicago (currently 12 office locations, all PPO) with an active patient base of 40,000 patients and seeing over 1,500 new patients per month!
Responsibilities:
Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities
Correct bite issues and overcrowding
Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners
Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics
Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc
Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth
Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them
Manage positively and openly communicate with other staff members to provide outstanding care to patients
Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
Routinely follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email.
Manage patient experiences, patient expectations, circumvent negative experiences and create positive outcomes for those experiences.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois state dental license (and malpractice insurance)
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records
Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and thorough tx planning skills.
Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work
Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
