The Director, Commercial Operations plays a pivotal role within the Nox Health Enterprise Market Development organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales operations to drive strategic direction and operational efficiency. This position blends administrative proficiency with strategic insight, driving the optimization of sales processes and technologies to enhance sales performance and facilitate organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to optimize all aspects of sales operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Manage and optimize Salesforce platform, overseeing system administration, customization, and integration with other business applications to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Execute and support sales processes, workflows, and best practices to streamline operations, improve sales productivity, e.g. support lead management and tracking processes, partner with marketing to optimize lead generation efforts and ensure seamless integration with sales initiatives
  • Manage the development and deployment of customized reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Support Sales and Client Success leadership to regularly analyze sales data and performance metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives to drive revenue
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Client Success, Product Development, and Finance, to ensure cohesive execution of sales and client success strategies and initiatives
  • Support sales policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide support in sales talent development, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to build a high-performing sales operations function
  • Manage departmental budget and resources, allocating resources effectively to support sales objectives and initiatives
  • Oversee and participate in the requirements gathering, scoping, delivery, and completion of new enhancement requests, including impact analysis and downstream process considerations
  • Perform ongoing system administration and configuration (flows, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards, user maintenance, etc.) and ensure integration and data security with other information systems
  • Drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through comprehensive documentation, training, and support for new and current employees
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and support materials, ensuring Salesforce serves as the source of truth for defined data points and processes
  • Uphold Salesforce best practice standards to ensure scalable design, high-quality delivery, and proper sandbox usage and testing policies


Marginal Duties:

  • Conduct regular audits of Salesforce data to maintain accuracy and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies to uphold data quality standards
  • Coordinate with IT support teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement system enhancements, ensuring optimal functionality of Salesforce
  • Provide ongoing support to sales team members, addressing inquiries and facilitating training sessions to promote platform proficiency and adoption
  • Attend client/prospect meetings as needed by team


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, with a proven track record of success in driving sales performance improvement and operational excellence
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce administration, customization, and integration, along with proficiency in other sales and marketing automation tools
  • Salesforce Certifications Required
    • Administrator
    • Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certifications Preferred
    • Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Platform Developer 1
    • Data Architect
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
