We are looking for a dedicated, driven and experienced Director of Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting. This role is pivotal in directing all our external and internal financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with SEC and US GAAP rules, and overseeing the filing of financial statements for our equity holders, lenders, and internal parties.
Key Activities Include
Comprehensive direction of the timely and accurate preparation of Quarterly and Annual Reports
Supervision of monthly financial statement analyses and initiation of internal financial reports
Execution of technical accounting research and analysis
Clear and consistent management of outside auditor relationships
Overseeing monthly close and reporting activities
Active participation in cross-functional strategic initiatives to ensure establishment of appropriate accounting procedures
Collaboration with the internal audit to establish secure financial controls
Evaluating changes in business or systems environment to mitigate impact on financial reporting and corporate accounting
Mentoring and coaching your team to promote a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
CPA certification
8-10 years of professional experience, including technical GAAP accounting
Previous experience with SEC reporting
Expertise in the analysis of financial statements, internal controls, SOX, US GAAP
Proficient in Excel
Essbase and/or Oracle experience
Retail experience is welcomed
