Engineering Operations Manager

Summary/Objective:

The Operations Leader position entails supervising daily activities at our new manufacturing plant and working in conjunction with the engineering, production, maintenance, and leadership teams.

• Collaborate with developers, engineers, project managers, and maintenance to understand the requirements and scope of automated projects.
• Recommends, develops, and implements enhancements and improvements to increase production volume or precision in high throughput operations
• Assist with cost estimates and project calculations for anything at the plant.
• Lead/Develop the operational leaders by developing strategies to reach the success needed in our four pillars as a Company.
• Develop Expectations and Standards that need to be met by your leaders, set up metrics to tell if winning overall.
• Building and Driving Continuous Improvement for all departments

Working Conditions:

• Primarily working indoors, office environment.
• May sit for several hours at a time.
• Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
• Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
• Working in the plant with weld testing fixtures, robotics, and other parts of the automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Engineering Degree preferred
• At least 5 years leadership in a technical manufacturing environment required
