Operates an integrated network of strategic assets that creates and sells refined petroleum products, from feedstock acquisition to wholesale, commercial and retail sales outlets.
Environmental Project Specialist
Duties:
Point of contact for Contractors across Projects
Field audits of contractor activity
Permit/Registration verification of portable equipment
Spill, release and odor response to assist with reporting determination and provide guidance to Ops/Maintenance
Interaction with Operations and Maintenance to resolve compliance risks and issues.
Work closely with environmental SMEs to assist with field work
Emergency/Incident Response, including community monitoring, collecting samples.
FLIR Camera - Identification/Troubleshooting Source of Leaks (fence line monitoring exceedances)
Jerome H2S Monitor program management (coordinating routine maintenance, providing training and conducting monitoring, as needed)
Contractor Compliance Certification program (semiannual certification process, including TARs)
Contractor Safety Council Environmental representative
ENV procedure/standards updates.
Qualifications:
Basic Knowledge of Refinery
Strong communication skills (Written and spoken), when working with Contractors, Personnel
General understanding of Environmental regulations
Auditing/Inspection experience
Strong influencing skills
Ability to manage environmental programs (budgeting, coordination, tracking, procedure updates, training
Ability to work with management and councils on ENV issues (proposals, bulletins, training, etc.)
Experience with FLIR/OGI Camera us
Ability to function independently with resolving issues w/ minimal guidance from SMEs.
