We are actively seeking an ERP Business Applications Analyst to join our team located in Dedham, MA.

*This position is hybrid, so candidates must live in MA or RI to be considered*

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Accountable for MS Dynamics 365 for Operations ongoing support and enhancements, business requirements definition, end user access, and configuration.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of support to end users by documenting application support procedures.
  • Participate in all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle including planning, requirements definition, solution design, test execution, and implementation of business applications.
  • Works projects through to completion while keeping project team members, stakeholders, vendors, and senior IT management informed of issues and overall status.
  • Gathers and analyzes business requirements from stakeholders and identifies potential solutions.
  • Translate functional business requirements into technical requirements working with development resources.
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap for selected business applications and systems.
  • Assists with managing vendor relationships including scoping of application services and review of deliverables.
  • Continuously improve support processes and develop staff to keep up with changing IT and business demands.
  • Perform system maintenance tasks to maintain environment health.
  • Perform D365 code deployments where necessary.
  • Document and diagram existing systems and business processes and constantly analyze for more efficient methods.
  • Assists with audit, security, & compliance requirements.
  • Adhere to team and departmental development standards.
  • Allocation of work and performance of the team.
  • Responsible for work delivered within the team.
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication skills, verbal and written.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors and/or master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a professional environment with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform.
  • Strong knowledge of related business and implementation processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Retail/Call Center)
  • Experience in Solution Development Life Cycle, including design (creating functional/technical specifications), test scripts and other system administration, and support documentation.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings such as design/requirement gathering session or technical training sessions.
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors, consultants, and external parties as part of the ongoing application support and development.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 infrastructure components; CE knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in developing SQL queries and extracting data from databases and understanding complex database schemas and database objects.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
  • Proven technical documentation skills.
  • Detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze a situation for potential future problems.
  • Able to meet the development demands of a dynamic, growing company.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to >10 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
