Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of remote Ocean Export Specialists, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Manage key accounts, optimizing costs and adhering to budgetary guidelines.

Resolve escalated issues promptly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.

Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to secure optimal transportation solutions.

Collaborate closely with sales teams on account management and pricing strategies.

Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding cargo status and movements.

Implement and maintain quality controls to prevent compliance issues.

Managerial Responsibilities

Foster a transparent and inclusive workplace, nurturing teamwork and professional growth.

Develop team members through training and ongoing support, setting clear performance standards.

Ensure adequate staffing and workload balance within the team.

Support team members with system issues, financial management, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in international ocean export operations, ideally in logistics or freight forwarding.

Proven track record of managing teams and handling BCO accounts.

Strong knowledge of ocean freight booking processes and logistics operations.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office suite.
