JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of total rewards strategies, People operations, and the ability to balance long-range planning with near-term execution and helping create an unforgettable Employee Experience.

You will play a critical role in building and implementing our Total Rewards philosophy and strategy across the organization, building a great place to work, and ensuring competitiveness within the industry. You will be a key member of the People team responsible for reviewing programs, administering them, suggesting modifications, and ensuring achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive total rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Oversee the administration of employee compensation, including base pay and incentives, ensuring fairness, equity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmark data to make informed decisions regarding compensation and benefits offerings.
  • Develop and implement People operational strategies in alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain People policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, support, and resources to empower team members to excel in their roles and contribute to overall departmental success.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align total rewards and HR operations initiatives with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executives, managers, and employees on matters related to compensation, benefits, and HR operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in for total rewards programs and HR initiatives. 
  • Evaluate and optimize HR processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor HR metrics and implement data-driven strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all countries of operation.

EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • 10+ years of diverse Total Rewards experience.
  • 7+ years' experience with full life-cycle compensation planning & execution, implementation, budget & merit planning, salary survey management and benefit design.
  • 5+ Years of leading a Total Rewards and/or People Operations team. 
  • Excellent client service skills, able to influence, build relationships, and trust at all levels. 
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, including ability to prepare materials for audiences at all levels of the organization. 
  • Inclusive leadership style that engages, develops, and motivates their team to drive results, yet is not afraid to get into the detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis. 
  • Demonstrated ability and courage to handle change. 
  • Ability to handle complex and sensitive discussions and processes with diplomacy. 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional efforts and initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance, seeking input from, and collaborating with key stakeholders. 

Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range

$190,000—$210,000 USD

  • High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.
  • Advanced detection: By interrogating genes for complex variants, we can identify the underlying causes of conditions that may otherwise be missed.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE

  • Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
  • Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
  • Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis. These efforts ultimately deliver more diagnostic findings to individuals.
