Industrial Engineering Manager, SMT

As the leader of our client's SMT Pool IE department, you will drive innovation and efficiency across our production lines, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and achieving optimal performance in all SMT product lines.

General Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the vision for the SMT Plant of the Future, overseeing planning, new product introductions, and equipment implementation.

- Lead a team of team leaders and industrial engineers, ensuring smooth coordination across departments to achieve outstanding results.

- Manage and optimize production processes, employing innovative approaches and structured problem-solving techniques.

People Management:

- Foster team development and competency management, providing mentorship and training to ensure continuous growth and performance excellence.

- Drive motivation and engagement within your teams, initiating process optimization and technology advancements based on industry trends and internal evaluations.

Management and Reporting:

- Participate in regular and ad-hoc reviews at various organizational levels, steering budget updates and providing comprehensive IE reporting.

- Collaborate closely with production, quality control, R&D, and other departments to align on goals and strategies.

Supporting and Coordination Role:

- Provide hands-on support for production, resolving complex issues and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate acquisitions of new equipment and contribute essential data for internal processes, ensuring seamless operational efficiency.

Further Responsibilities:

- Execute additional tasks as directed by supervisory leadership in the field of industrial engineering.

Basic Requirements:

- Minimum BS in Engineering or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

- At least 7 years of experience in production and/or automotive industries.

- Strong knowledge of high-volume automated manufacturing processes and cost management.

- Experience in SMT manufacturing processes preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management collaboration.

- Minimum 5 years of team leadership experience.

- Strong desire for continuous improvement and self-motivation.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to actively coach manufacturing personnel.

- Ability to travel up to 10%.
