Essential Job Duties
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and evaluate improvement opportunities in the Permian Resources, Delaware portfolio.
- Frame trades, sales, and development scenarios and calculate associated economics, reserves, and potential risk in production and cash flow.
- Collaborate with the Appraisal, Development, Geology, and Well Analysis and Design groups to understand resource potential in an asset.
- Initiate and/or support evaluation of acreage trades, sales, and purchases to improve OXY’s ownership positions.
- Responsible for economic evaluations of non-operated projects.
- Understand competitor activity, development plans, and technical strategies around Delaware Basin assets.
- Identify opportunities for data trades and well trials to improve subsurface understanding and increase project economics.
