● A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, backed by solid experience in backend development.

● Proven ability in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems, showcasing your technical depth and problem-solving skills.

● A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Scala. Candidates with extensive (5+ years) experience in another Object-Oriented programming language are also encouraged to apply.

● Familiarity with AWS products and services (including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudFront, etc.), or experience with other cloud platforms, demonstrating your adaptability in cloud environments.

● In-depth experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, underscoring your ability to manage and manipulate data effectively.

● A history of successfully taking ownership of features/functionality and delivering end-to-end projects with high quality and robust architecture, reflecting your dedication and attention to detail.

● Exceptional social skills with a proven track record of working effectively with multi-functional business partners, highlighting your team-oriented mindset.

● The capability to delve into any technical component, coupled with an understanding of the overall system architecture, demonstrating your comprehensive approach to technology.
