Job Description:
OBJECTIVE:
The Consulting Learning Business Advisor will work closely with business leaders, Talent Solutions team members and other firm personnel to drive the creation and execution of the learning strategy and curriculum for the Consulting Business Unit. This individual will lead a strategic planning process to define the vision, strategic plan and operating structure to drive success for the practice in all aspects of the learning strategy. The successful individual in this role will work to establish the programs, curriculum and processes to support our Consulting practice through our transformation as a business and ensure our people are ready and able to be successful in the future. This includes close alignment with various methodology teams to determine the future roadmap of learning in support of our methodology.
The LBA’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Advisor and Business Partner
Gain a deep understanding of the Consulting business strategy to define and implement a comprehensive learning strategy
Utilize leading, modern learning practices to support business goals, KPIs, and other key metrics
Serves as a program manager to coordinate all stakeholders from business side and learning team to efficiently develop and implement desired learning programs
Leverages data to make informed decisions related to relentless prioritization, gap identification and future state planning
Learning Strategy
Identify critical knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to support client training objectives
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationship at all levels of an organization to achieve a trusted advisor status, serve as the primary interface between the Consulting BU stakeholders and the development team, and demonstrate a bias-for-action to resolve client challenges
Creatively apply extensive knowledge of the consulting business and organizational acumen to develop innovative and engaging learning programs
Manage the Consulting Curriculum manager and other learning team members to design and deliver Consulting learning solutions
Client Work
Partners closely with key business leaders for program design, development and implementation of solutions
Lead recurring learning governance committee meetings, including planning, content development, facilitation, and follow up
Effectively communicate to align stakeholders, provide leadership updates, and seek to understand learning challenges.
Ensure client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the assigned projects
Provide consulting, and/or project management of learning programs
Work closely with the learning design team to develop products, achieve cost and quality targets and ensure on-time delivery
Oversees and manages large in-person and/or virtual training events, including various stakeholders
Project Management
Effectively utilizes best practice project management strategies and solutions to lead the solution design, development, and delivery with cross-functional and firmwide teams
Uses excellent communication strategies to build relationships across the firm to bring project responsibilities to fruition to benefit individuals, teams and the firm
Key Competencies:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to assess needs and recommend solutions
Ability to successfully manage and meet multiple, simultaneous project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Develops and maintains partnerships with functions and groups within Crowe
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating the initiative to complete projects with minimum supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills and solid working knowledge of Office 365
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Ability to create products with extremely high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to develop and edit content according to specific clients’ needs
General Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s in Organization Development, Business, or a related field
Minimum 10 years’ business experience in a professional services or corporate business environment
Demonstrated performance in program strategy, design and implementation; successfully led and delivered large scale strategic solutions within organizations and solutions that have contributed to culture shift
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience developing strategic communication plans and utilizing multiple communication channels required
Demonstrated success in project leadership, program implementation, and managing others
Proven success at building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization including the executive level
Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, critical thinking, problem solving and written and oral communication skills
Position-Specific Qualifications:
Responsible for leading the change necessary to evolve the Consulting curriculum and strategy for the practice. Taking all existing learning solutions and strategically identifying a new curriculum approach; driving the overall content strategy for what content is offered when, to whom, etc.; Stays abreast of major trends in Professional Services to bring these to Crowe’s strategies
Creates and communicates a standard learning approach across the entire practice which allows for appropriate flexibility and creates the rigor needed to achieve regulatory requirements
Provides thought leadership on modern learning practices and learning technologies (e.g., AI, Digital Adoption Tools, In-the-flow-of- work learning) and the impact it has on how we’ll need to adjust our learning strategies and approaches
