Responsibilities
- Review and analyze onboarding materials of prospective external business partners (Managing General Agent, Third Party Administrator, and Adjuster).
- Liaise with outside business contacts and insurance regulators via email and phone.
- Coordinate timely curing of internal and external licensing and regulatory deficiencies to support business initiatives.
- Manage, for compliance and best practice purposes, internal and external audit materials.
- Understand and implement processes prescribed by various insurance regulators.
- Field licensing inquiries related to business entities and individuals.
- Draft digital and hard copy correspondence.
- Gather licensing and compliance information through research.
- Complete special projects and assignments as needed.
- Work within a team environment.
- Handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Build strong relationships with co-workers on the Producer Licensing Team
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-2 years of related law firm or in-house experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Strong organizational and writing skills.
- A dedicated approach towards the execution of assignments.
- Performance of tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established workflows and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Paralegal certification.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Property & casualty licensing experience in multiple states and/or jurisdictions.
- Warranty experience.
