About The Role
Under general supervision, the Telemedicine Licensing Specialist plays a vital role in daily operations, supporting clinical providers in obtaining and maintaining required medical licensure, CSR, and DEA for hospital privileges.
Key Responsibilities
License Applications:
Prepare detailed cover letters and provide step-by-step application instructions to telemedicine providers.
Facilitate the expedited licensure application process by maintaining regular communication via phone and email to collect necessary information and documentation.
Coordinate submission of provider verifications to state boards, ensuring timely completion.
Update team and providers on licensure status and expected completion dates.
Expirables
Monitor monthly expirables reports, ensuring timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
Collaborate with recruiters, credentialing, and staffing teams to facilitate renewals.
Data Entry
Accurately enter provider information into CRM systems (SalesForce/MSOW) and maintain current records of working status.
Other Duties
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
Specialized knowledge of telemedicine credentialing requirements.
Familiarity with FCVS and FSMB processes preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience with MSOW is advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in health services, ideally within a Medical Staff Office or Credentialing department.
Additional Details
Office-based role with no travel required.
