The Role and Function of the Mail Clerk/The Shield Warehouse Assistant
This position is responsible for accepting, sorting, staging and distributing all mail, packages, and deliveries that are received daily at Faith Lutheran. The Mail Clerk will maintain a clean and efficient work space to allow for easy and accurate distribution of daily receipts.The Warehouse Assistant position will provide support in The Shield store warehouse.
The Positional Responsibilities
Accept mail and packages from various vendors throughout the work day.
Accept and stage all deliveries by parents.
Stage packages in the mail room and sort by recipient.
Notify package recipients of arrivals and times that the packages can be picked up.
Keep a clean and efficient work space that allows for easy access and movement.
Deliver daily mail receipts to the office area for distribution.
Deliver packages to designated recipients when time permits.
Assist with warehouse functions in the Shield Store as directed by management.
Operates office equipment.
Respect for confidentiality and privacy.
Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Clear handwriting and the ability to read and understand a wide range of materials.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Keep open communication with co-workers and store manager.
Other duties as directed by management.
