About the Job:

The National Distribution Manager is responsible for the growth of SIMFLO Vertical and Submersible Turbine and must have a comprehensive understanding of Agricultural and Municipal Groundwater pump markets. The National Distribution Manager will work closely with sales management to build program distributors, packagers and OEMs to increase sales of submersible and vertical turbine pump products. Prospective candidates will be expected to work closely with SIMFLO distributors, packages and OEMs to achieve maximum market penetration and sales of SIMFLO products.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Go to Market Plan with each SIMFLO Build Program Distributor, Packager and OEM.
  • Go To Market plans must include Measurable Goals, Targeted Accounts, Travel Time Required and Growth Targets.
  • Influence key account (upper and mid-level) decision makers.
  • Deliver orders and sales targets versus budgets.
  • Work with key accounts to increase Sales & Market Share of products nationally.
  • Open or cancel Build Program Distributors, Packagers and OEMs as needed to support sales plan.
  • Travel with Distributor Personnel to train and help grow SIMFLO product sales and market share.
  • Keep management advised of competitors’ activities or changes in the markets served by SIMFLO.
  • Attending appropriate trade shows and related events to expand market knowledge of products and trends.
  • Ability to Coach, Strong Work Ethics, Risk-Taker, Accountable, Manage by Prevention, Distributor Conflicts, Timely submittal of required reports, Organization, Able to make Decisions, Ability to Work Independently.
  • Able to address and manage unexpected business-related conflicts in a timely and professional manner.


Travel:

In order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position, travel will be required (typically 60%).


Essential Competencies:

  • Proficient at verbal and written communication
  • Ability to respond quickly to customers and negotiate effectively
  • Able to think strategically in regards to sales, planning and execution
  • Proficient at relationship management at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Previous knowledge of the market and industry
  • Ability to use a consultative and value-based approach with customers
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills


Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in the vertical turbine or submersible turbine industry
