Must-haves:

1. OSP construction / splicing experience 4 years minimum

2. Direct engineering experience / direct fiber to the home (FTTH or FTTP) experience

Plusses:

Project Management

Solid engineering knowledge

Day-to-Day:

· Fiber cable field design, cost estimating, splicing sequences, and planning and design loss calculations.

· CAD and manual mapping/drafting, ICMS records updates and research, permits.

· Estimating, cost studies, customer contacts, negotiating land acquisitions for easements and land purchases for field mounted switching units.

· Working with NCDOT or utility coordinator on various relocation projects.

· Working with business and residential developers and GC's to provide our services as needed/requested.

· Daily service order support as needed.
