- Conducting preliminary domestic and international screening searches;
- Reviewing and analyzing full search reports;
- Filing U.S. trademark applications, Statements of Use, Extensions of Time, Renewals, Section 8 & 15 Affidavits, Responses to Office Actions, Assignments, Notices of Opposition and related documents;
- Reviewing watch notices;
- Liaising with foreign associates regarding clearance, prosecution and conflict matters;
- Support attorneys with domestic and international conflicts including gathering evidence;
- Support domain name registration and management and anti-counterfeiting enforcement.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience, including domestic and international searching;
- College Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate;
- Working knowledge of Saegis or similar search database, TM management system (preferably IPfolio or general Salesforce experience), Legal Tracker, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
- Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure;
- Foreign language skills and industry experience a plus but not required;
- In-house experience preferred.
