Project Accountant
Zyscovich Architects is a nationally renowned integrated Urban Design, Architecture, and Interior Design firm headquartered in Miami, with additional locations in New York City, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Bogota. Zyscovich's 45-year portfolio includes aviation, mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality, retail, education, and commercial facilities.
- Setup and review project contracts with budget and billing terms.
- Coordinate with PM's to ensure accurate and consistent billing and financial reporting.
- Obtain Sub consultant contracts, and obtain their invoices based on % of completion.
- Provide invoices to clients and coordinate consultant invoices and payment per contract terms.
- Monthly review of project labor and reimbursable expenses with PM's for accuracy.
- Maintain organized project files, understand contract terms as they relate to fee management.
- Generate and mail out Customer Statements.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and assist with proactive collection efforts.
- Post Cash Receipts and prepare consultant cash disbursements.
- Update Architectural billing projections and backlog report.
- Manage the whole financial aspect of the projects from inception (Crib) to final close out (RIP)
- Coordinate with project team to develop accurate cost to complete estimates & percent of complete evaluations.
- Track, monitor & report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend using project controlling tools/reports.
Administrative

Contract Management
- Drafting and revising project contracts with leadership team and client
- Ensuring the firm's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
- Providing advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Creating, preparing, reviewing, and editing all contracts
- Attend meetings to assess progress on projects which are in motion, and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders
- Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects
Qualifications
- Very proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
- Prior Experience with Deltek Vision or Semaphore software preferred.
- Excellent command of English language - Written and Spoken
- Working knowledge of General Ledger- Min 2 years
- Construction Accounting and Job Costing Experience
- Accounting Classes - Principles of Accounting
- Accounting or Business administration degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a professional service environment.
