The City of Austin D/B/A Austin Energy requires the services of a Project Lead 2 hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualifications of a Project Lead 2 and the specifications outlined in this document for Austin Energy.

WORK DESCRIPTION:
Looking for an experienced Project Lead to help with IT Project coordination activities which includes project planning, project monitoring, and project status reporting. This position will coordinate work for small projects across multiple IT teams.

| 4-7 | Develop scope, cost estimates, work plans, time schedules, communication plans, and makes work assignments to meet project objectives
| 4-7 | Develop information technology project plans and associated communications documents, identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, and track and report on project milestones and deliverables
| 4-7 | Request the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and where required, from other department managers
| 4-7 | Technical writing experience compiling formal business documentation around a regulated industry
| 4-7 | Experience using MS Project to track coordination task progress

Resources are currently working remotely, but based on job requirements, candidate may need to report to a work location periodically for in-person meetings.
