Our client is a fast-growing global consulting firm, focused on leading digital and operational transformation projects for the alternative investment industry (consisting of private equity, real estate, private debt, credit, and infrastructure). They are known for their expertise, innovation, and commitment to delivering exceptional value to their clients.


About the Role

This position will report to the Executive Director of Services and will be responsible for the development of business for consulting services as well as working closely with the broader leadership team on new business opportunities and the development of new service offerings. Being a new role for them in this region, there is a great level of entrepreneurship and autonomy in this role whilst working closely with the US team to build out the function.


Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting engagements in the alternatives space, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop Lionpoint's Limited Partner capabilities and drive business development efforts.
  • Manage the alternative workstreams of large multi-asset projects, from scoping to delivery, ensuring successful outcomes. Includes working across internal wealth management and technology groups.
  • Build and maintain deep client relationships, influencing key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques and industry experience to enhance credibility and provoke insights.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on alternative-related products and operational nuances.
  • Drive engagement with operational groups to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Expertise within the software solutions industry, ideally within the FS space
  • 8+ years of experience in private equity operations, with specific expertise in middle and back-office operations for accounting, reporting, system implementation, and deal management.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of alternative operations and products including traditional Fund Investments, Private Equity, Real Assets, Credit, Retail Alts, Indirect Holding, and full technology stack integration and reporting.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining deep client relationships
  • Ability to tailor key narratives that resonate with different operational groups including portfolio management, trading, deal teams, compliance, operations, finance, risk, and investor relations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading consulting and technology delivery projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of large ERP systems such as BlackRock Aladdin/eFront Suite of Product, SimCorp Dimension.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
