Regional Continuous Improvement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional CI Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our facilities and across the broader organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and quality.

As the Regional CI Manager, you will play a vital role in the company's success by implementing Lean principles and tools to optimize processes and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading projects to eliminate waste, reduce costs, improve safety, and increase productivity. Additionally, you will coach and mentor team members on Lean methodologies, ensuring the sustainability of improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across regional manufacturing plants
  • Identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvement projects
  • Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities
  • Implement Lean principles and tools to optimize processes
  • Coach and mentor team members on Lean methodologies
  • Monitor and track progress of improvement initiatives and report results to senior management
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization
  • Develop and lead the Management of Change program
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping exercises, 5S activities, Kaizen Events, etc. when necessary
  • Plan and lead process improvement workshops and training sessions


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc
  • Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience developing and leading formal MOC programs and processes. Experience should include areas such as ERP implementations, OEE system installations and support, CI program roll outs, etc
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
