Position: Repair Tech

Basic Function: Help maintain processes for all sales channels and assist in renewing devices and parting out devices. This shall include any reporting, inventory taking, product selections, customer support functions, listing and shipping functions related to supporting the sales activities in direct sales activities. Will repair devices for guests and maintain a professionalism with guests.

General Responsibilities:

• Research new techniques for repair and part out
• Develop new techniques to part out and maximize profit from broken and locked devices
• Repair nonworking or broken devices
• Apply Screen Protectors for guest
• Access devices for guests on potential repair or trade in
• Keep necessary paperwork and files required for any related product
• Order boxes or other supplies as needed for online sales shipping
• Must be able to work independently
• Identify iOS, Android, and other devices. Sort unknown condition items (purple dot) to be repaired or into the direct sale channel.
• Maintain inventory price list for locked and broken products
• Scan items into Direct Sales Invoicing software, maintain a list of orders being built and shipped. Must be able to ensure all products are correctly identified by device, model and condition
• Assist with inventory counts and maintaining desired quantities of product for the different retail venues
• Maintain an efficient work space and adhere to all standard operating procedures for all product encountered
• Prepare and maintain shipments of all items sold through a direct sales channel this includes stacking boxes on pallet, wrap and band pallet, and move pallets to shipping dock
• Keep accurate load data information on all items to be potentially sold through a direct sales channel
• Work overtime as needed to maintain efficient product flow, online sales, and levels of product
• Other duties as assigned by management
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to stand or sit for extended lengths of time
• Must be able to work on computer for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift over 100 pounds regularly

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer and typing skills necessary
• Computer classes and/or knowledge needed
• Repair and Part out experience is required
  
  
  

Scheduled Hours:

• 40 hour week, Mon-Sat, Requiring one to begin as early as 8am and stay as late 6pm. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Mandatory overtime as needed.
• Saturdays are required.
• Major holidays are required, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
