Senior Director of Finance, Hudson Yards Experiences

Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Finance will be a key member of the Hudson Yards Experiences (‘HYE’) leadership team, responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, and leading strategic financial projects. They will manage capital allocation in preparation for refinancing and lead collaboration and communication with investors regarding financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Build and lead an FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Provide insights and recommendations to management and investors based on financial analysis
  
  
  

Accounting:

• Collaborate with a team of three accountants to deliver all aspects of accounting operations, including the month-end close process, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Manage internal controls and audit processes
  
  
  

Strategic Projects:

• Lead ad-hoc strategic projects that drive business growth and efficiency
• Evaluate and quantify business opportunities, optimizing capital allocation for greatest financial impact
• Develop project plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement and measure initiatives
  
  
  

Investor Relations:

• Serve as the primary owner of financial communications with investors
• Prepare and present financial updates, reports, and forecasts to Related, KKR and lenders
• Lead efforts in preparation for refinancing, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
  
  
  

Compensation:

• $150,000 - $200,000 / year
• Annual performance based bonus
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in finance or consulting, with significant experience in FP&A and accounting
• Proven experience leading strategic projects and managing capital allocation
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus
