Responsibilities

Your Future Team

Atlassian’s Early Career program is an important part of building our TEAM! As we continue to evolve our EC strategy, we seek a Senior Manager with depth of experience in Early Career and University recruiting to join our EC TA team based in the Pacific time zone. We’re seeking a dynamic people leader to lead a talented team of distributed individual contributors responsible for hiring EC roles across multiple rapidly scaling business units. While we have existing relationships with our business leaders, there is much to be built. You will be responsible for implementing scalable, innovative recruiting strategies aimed at attracting top talent. You should have a knack for telling a story with data, consider yourself a default collaborator, and have experience encouraging the craft of recruitment. You should also be excited about building something new and instilling a healthy and collaborative team culture.

Your role: You will be accountable for building and optimising an EC Team, creating innovative recruiting strategies for your region and business teams globally. Leveraging data and relationships, you'll drive improvements to ensure a top-notch candidate experience and refine our attraction & selection processes and tooling.

On Day One You Will

  • Lead a team of early career recruiting professionals coaching them to build their careers. As a strong leader, you're an effective listener and facilitator using your experience and situational awareness to help your team continue their development path
  • Bring a focus on data. You're excited by the role data can play in improving recruiting outcomes, individual performance, and processes. Your experience will help you and your team craft the best approach to working with our partners and building our candidate pipelines.
  • Set clear goals. You're comfortable with being assessed on the efficiency of your team and drive collective accountability for the team's success as well as the way they achieve it
  • Partner closely with key leaders. You'll be naturally curious and inquisitive, seeking to understand the what and the why and not afraid to ask if what we do today is the right way to approach tomorrow
  • Care. You'll share our values and exhibit them in your actions and communication with colleagues and candidates. You'll want everyone you interact with to leave with an enhanced opinion of Atlassian and the recruiting function
  • Oversee programmatic workforce planning, hiring processes, timelines, and metrics. Ensure we are on track to meet hiring targets while maintaining a high caliber of candidates and consistent, diverse pipeline.
  • Identify and foster relationships with established and potential university and UR hiring partners. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align university relations strategy, program and organizational goals.
  • Develop and facilitate recruitment initiatives designed to increase candidate attraction, collaborating with Talent Brand.
  • Regularly communicate University Recruiting metrics, KPIs and insights with key stakeholders, including members of the Executive Leadership Team. This includes evaluating performance and impact of university partnerships against predefined metrics and objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have substantial experience leading Campus, University or Early Careers Talent Attraction teams, with exposure to Intern or Grad programming, ideally within a complex multi-national or matrix based organization
