Job Summary / Duties

The Soils/Civil engineer will be responsible for site reconnaissance, scheduling drilling, logging borings, soils sampling, engineering analysis and assist in preparing of geotechnical reports. Additional responsibilities include assisting/preparation of cost proposals, providing exceptional customer service, assisting in laboratory testing. Having certificates from any jurisdiction for Lab tests is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and EIT in Civil Engineering are required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical Investigation and laboratory testing
  • Strong working knowledge of geotechnical investigation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Outlook ,Word and Excel )
  • Other certifications suchas Laboratory Testing / Certified Caltrans Technician is a Plus but not a requirement.
