Salary: $45,000

Bonus Opportunity: $4,000

Total compensation: Up to $49,000

Health Benefits: QSHERA health care premium reimbursement up to $275/month.

Schedule: Four 10/11-hour shifts or five 8/9-hour shifts

About The Position

The Scenter Manager is a vital position at Scenthound, offering strong leadership, sales expertise, employee management, and exceptional customer service. You MUST love dogs to thrive in this position! This position requires:

∙ Management experience (experience scheduling, hiring, and maintaining company culture)

∙ Customer service experience (retail, restaurant)

∙ Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time

∙ Prior retail or service sales experience

∙ Ability to perform basic services on dogs when absolutely needed (bath, nail clip, clean ears, brush teeth)

∙ Must be comfortable in a hectic, loud environment!

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for a confident manager who leads with integrity, honesty, and compassion. A successful Scenter Manager is reliable, hard working, has high expectations for employees, and is a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a HANDS-ON leader who can mange the day-to-day operations of the Scenter with emphasis on critical KPI’s: Labor Efficiency Ratio, Average Ticket Price, Rebook Ratio. While not common, the Scenter Manager MUST be able to wash dogs during times of need.

Tasks

∙ Drive membership sales through dog health and wellness education

∙ Maintain a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness, safety, and efficiency

∙ Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship for the Scenter employees

∙ Drive employee development through leadership, training, and performance reviews

∙ Uphold quality standards through hands-on participation, employee audits, and training

∙ Promptly and accurately communicate information from upper management to your team

∙ Identify when/ where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule

∙ Create an environment conducive to teamwork, open communication, and Scenthound values

∙ Manage client expectations; Resolve customer concerns

∙ Ensure safety of dogs and team members at all times

∙ Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices

∙ Perform services on dogs as needed by the Scenter

∙ Create the schedule for your employees

∙ Manage employee performance and all hiring/firing for the store.

Scenthound is a dog health and wellness company focused on routine care for dogs' Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails and Teeth. Training for this position will occur in our Herriman and/or South Jordan locations, prior to the opening of our upcoming Sandy location later in the year.
