- [Presenter] If you need a highly available concurrently accessible file system and elastic file system does not meet your requirements, AWS also offers Amazon FSx. Let's take some time to understand the basic properties of FSx and how FSx can impact availability. As you would expect, FSx is a fully managed service offering meaning you can focus on design and usage instead of infrastructure. FSx offers burstable throughput for regular use. However, it is possible to configure dedicated throughput if you have more intense IO needs. You can use FSx to create a Windows file server. It also supports the open source lustre file system which is a parallel file system designed for high performance computing.
