- Once you have established your North Star or your mission, you also need a vision and action plan on how to stay the course regardless of the current financial, cultural, or political climate. Successfully steering your team or company through endless transformations require confidence and inner belief that you have what it takes. We keep all kinds of navigational equipment on the ship, but it's the gyrocompass that keeps us going in the right direction. Even when you get turned around by the most violent seas, the gyrocompass has a scope that enables it to continuously seek the direction of the true geographic north.
