- [Instructor] Developers and writers often use a language called markdown to write content, and you'll find it often in many GitHub repos. Let's take a look at the basics of that format and see how it works and how you can use it. To play with this, I'm going to be using this repository in my account. I highly suggest that you either create your own repository or just open an existing repository. And we'll play around with this Readme file. GitHub has a really good built-in editor, so we're going to click right here to go into that editor. And you'll see that you'll just get the text of the project, and then if you hit the preview button you'll be able to see the results right here on the preview.
