- [Instructor] Once you reach this point you have completed your first SCADA project. However, I want to mention that this project is meant for education. To give you the opportunity to learn about some of the software needed in developing a SCADA system. If you would do this for real projects, there is something that I want you to keep in mind when designing a SCADA project, that is security. Security is very important especially this type of data in industrial automation. That includes data coming from machines, sensors, different operators information and factory data. You need to think about who can access your system, the different permission levels, even transferring data between the software needs to have a security level in it.
