- In this chapter, I want to talk a little bit about the three different sliders that we have at our disposal when it comes to skin softening. They are texture, clarity, and dehaze. And these three sliders work in different ways. There's different math powering them on the backend and I think you kind of need to be aware slightly about what the heck is going on back there so that you know what slider to use when. To show you a nice visual example, I'm going to go ahead and get out of my masking section by clicking on this icon right up here. And we're going to talk for the first time in this course about the sliders that are global adjustments. And right here you can see we have our presence section which has texture, clarity and dehaze.
