How to leverage comments, reactions, and share

"

- When it comes to comments, reactions, and reposts, this is something to not sleep on. After this video, you'll have a true understanding of why you should be paying attention to these metrics and how to engage with them and leverage them. So the three main things that you look at in terms of engagement on any LinkedIn posts are reactions, comments, and reposts. The way that I rank them is, number one, is comments for me because that shows that people took the time to thoughtfully write something out among everything else in their day. That's a really important point, right? They could be doing... There's so much content out there, they took the time to comment with you. Big. Next is reposts, so they took the time to validate and say this is credible to their audience. That's really big. And then reactions, how many people just came by, liked it, loved it, whatever it is. Now, when this happens, there's another step to this. So let's go back to the post and let's talk about it. So one thing I like to do is I like to go through, or I used to, I don't have as much time now, go through and I would tell every single person, thanks for liking my posts, what did you get out of this? That is one of the biggest things that you can do that most people don't do and that have slept on, that will get engagement in the DMs. And that's what we want, we want to talk to people in the DMs. The next thing is, I look at all my comments and I see, okay, who can I engage with? So this is a really good example. Shout out to Alex, really good person. I'm going to follow up with him and say, hey, notice that you said hey, I don't like chasing him for the next call. No, you don't want to do that. What is the things that you like to do to schedule the next step? Now, by setting that intention and talking to him in the DMs, I now have a good understanding of how he likes to go about it. We now have a dialogue and now I'm building relationships. So that's the way that you can leverage your likes or reactions, your comments. And for reposts, I just thank people for reposting it and I could even start a dialogue from that. So every action that someone takes, you can take an action on top of that, and that's what you should be doing to making sure you maximize these opportunities.
