Use the control center and customize the toolbar - macOS Tutorial
From the course: macOS Sonoma Essential Training
Use the control center and customize the toolbar
- [Instructor] System settings gives you many detailed settings for your Mac, but for the most common settings that you need to access quickly, you can use the control center or you can place extra menu items on the menu bar. In the top right corner in the menu bar I'll click this button, which will open the control center. And this gives you quick access to lots of controls. For example, you can very quickly adjust the volume level of your speakers or enable a focus mode to block notifications. Or if you're listening to music, you can control that here. And you may see different options here depending on the features that your computer has. Usually if you see a round icon like this, that means you can turn that feature on or off. So if I click this button, it will disable wifi. If I click that button again, it will turn wifi back on. Or if you click on the name, not on the round button you'll get more options…
