GraalVM is a high-performance JDK and ahead-of-Time compiler for accelerating the performance of modern Java applications and for building microservices.
In addition to an optimized JVM, GraalVM also incorporates its optimizing compiler technology into an advanced ahead-of-time (AOT) compiler that translates Java bytecode applications into native machine executables. These native executables are smaller, start nearly instantaneously, and consume a fraction of the resources of the same Java application running on a JVM, making them ideal for cloud deployments and microservices.
GraalVM is included with the Oracle Java SE Universal subscription.
