Danfoss plant in Mexico saves over 6 million liters of water annually

In Reynosa, Mexico, the Danfoss Power Solutions' Fluid Conveyance plant has taken a remarkable leap toward responsible resource management. By capturing and reusing the water formed inside their air-conditioning systems, they have successfully reduced water consumption.

The factory’s technicians have designed a piping system that channels the captured water to various storage tanks within the facility. From here, the water is efficiently distributed to employee toilets, production processes requiring water, and the irrigation system.

Operating nearly non-stop, the plant collects over 6 million liters of water annually through its 18 large air-conditioning systems. This impressive achievement has led to a remarkable 65.5% reduction in the factory's total annual water usage, in line with our 2030 ESG ambition.
