🔔 BIG NEWS from our DevNet Sandbox team ⬇ The latest redesign work is focused on user access to the Sandbox environments, such as: - AO environments will no longer have static credentials. - Users must reserve the lab to generate unique access credentials. - Your username/password is good for the duration of the reservation. Creds are deleted on teardown. - Max sandbox reservation time will be ~5 days. You'll see those changes apply to these **Always-On (AO)** sandboxes (over the next few months): - ACI Simulator Always-On - Catalyst Center Always-On v2.3.3.6 - Identity Services Engine: Always-On Sandbox - IOS XE on Cat8kv AlwaysOn - IOS XR Programmabilty AlwaysOn - NSO AlwaysOn - Open NX-OS Programmability AlwaysOn - SD-WAN 20.10 AlwaysOn We know y'all 💜 the AO Sandboxes, so any changes we make to those come with a lot of care and thought to usability. As you can guess, having static usernames and passwords for universal use presents a security risk. Unfortunately that exposed a threat risk which would impact the user experience of our platform, so the team needed to take action. Let us know what you think!
