The Digital Learning Collaborative (DLC) is devoted to K-12 digital learning.

Über uns

The Digital Learning Collaborative (DLC) is a membership group dedicated to exploring, producing, and disseminating data, information, news, and best practices in digital learning. Current members include school districts, intermediate units, public agencies, non-profit organizations, and companies. The DLC offers extensive publications on policy and practice, webinars, professional learning, and a weekly blog, among other initiatives. The Digital Learning Annual Conference (DLAC) is the main event of the DLC. We say that DLAC is “powered by the DLC.” Members make up the bulk of DLAC Program Committee, which has the opportunity to weigh in on the direction of DLAC. The conference builds on the dedicated support and deep experience of our advisors and would not be possible without the time and effort that they provide. Mark your calendar: • Digital Learningpalooza, a virtual event powered by the DLC, will open its virtual gates on October 14, 2024. • #DLAC25 will be held February 24–26, 2025 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta. Both DLAC and the DLC were pioneered by the Evergreen Education Group, which has been studying the K-12 digital learning field for over 20 years.

  • Sometimes, the best method for education is a mix of two models. Hybrid learning fuses the best aspects of in-person and online education. It provides: ✅ Strong student-teacher relationships ✅ Greatly personalized learning ✅ Learning tied to career goals ✅ Diverse teaching methods ✅ Flexible schedules But these benefits are not automatic. It takes time and effort. And the right balance must be struck for it to be successful. Have you experienced hybrid learning? To learn more, check out our 2024 Snapshot: https://lnkd.in/gemMETKt

  • "Through DLC, I have access to a national network of online learning leaders that allows me to tap into what's happening around the country and even around the world in online learning to bring that back to my organization. We're always stronger together, and so by creating that network, we're able to do much more together than we could ever do on our own." — Jeff Simmons, Superintendent, Idaho Digital Learning

Competition ↳ Effective marketing and recruitment is required. ↳ Must differentiate your program. 4. Beyond the headlines ↳ More options for students with learning disabilities. ↳ Other events, such as natural disasters, can lead to online learning. 5. • Want to build a successful digital program? Invest in people first. Then technology. It is tempting to think only of the technology with digital learning. - The next big tool - Artificial intelligence - The perfect curriculum But this is a losing strategy. Instead, focus on people first. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀. It is the: - Parents providing support - Students putting in the effort - Teachers facilitating the learning - Staff smoothing out communication - Administrators keeping it all together These relationships create a successful program.
