In this Process and Integration Manager role, you will be a key leader of the Display & Optics team within Meta Reality Labs, to manage a global team of engineers tasked with leading the Process and Integration as well as the technology transfer of critical optical sub-systems of AR and our smart glass products. The team of Process and Integration is at the center of a wide network of cross-functional partners: System and Architecture, Supply Chain, Advanced Manufacturing, Testing, Quality, Reliability, Operations, Program Management and other Display & Optics teams. You and the team are expected to be closely tied to the engineering efforts and programs with a deep understanding of what constitutes success for a successful maturing of new technologies leading up to the product ramp-up phase, providing important feedback for optical system architecting and optical system design.
Process and Integration Manager Responsibilities
  • Partner with the org leader and peers to develop the strategy and working model for integration and technology transfer of critical optical sub-systems of AR through maturation and into the ramp-up and production phases.
  • Be accountable for the success of products and be the driving force to solve engineering challenges of critical optical sub-systems.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the inner workings of the technologies being developed. Coach, guide, and grow the team to achieve business impact/results while helping them excel in their careers.
  • Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners. Participate in defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop strong executive-level relationships with key suppliers/partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
  • Background in optics and display hardware development.
  • Experience in developing and shipping innovative products with high complexity.
  • Understanding of the technical and operational processes required to ensure the successful ramp-up of new products and new technologies into the production phase.
  • Experience acting as a lead to deliver new technologies into products.
  • People management and leadership skills.
  • Business sense and acumen experience.
  • Demonstrated bias towards action in technology development with experience in understanding trade-offs to enable a successful ramp.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as people management.
  • MS or higher in Engineering.
  • Experience working on Consumer electronics hardware and process development.
  • Experience dealing and managing CMs and partners with shipping hardware at scale.
  • Experience with AR/VR products.

$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
