A few hours before Thursday's 3 p.m. PT Trade Deadline, the A's acquired four prospects in exchange for Blackburn and Erceg. With a roster opening as a result of the two trades, the A's also selected Reyes from Triple-A Las Vegas. Reyes, who holds a 3.82 ERA in 31 relief appearances for the Aviators this season, will pitch out of the bullpen for the A's.
